Faculty of Arts and Sciences Information Package Definitions

Our faculty was established on July 11, 1992, by Law No. 3837 dated July 3, 1992, published in the Official Gazette No. 21281. In the 1993-1994 academic year, it began teaching with 6 departments, namely Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, History, Turkish Language and Literature, and a total of 208 students, and other departments were opened in subsequent years. Our faculty moved to its permanent building, constructed in six modules on the East Campus, in February 2005. In the 1994-1995 academic year, the number of students doubled with the opening of second-shift programs in all departments.
