SDU Faculty of Dentistry was established in 1995 with the decision of YÖK Executive Board dated 24.02.1995. Our faculty consists of two departments as Clinical Dental Sciences and Basic Sciences and eight departments as Oral and Maxillofacial Diseases and Surgery, Dental Diseases and Treatment, Endodontics, Oral, Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology, Orthodontics, Pedodontics, Periodontology and Prosthodontics. The faculty consists of 12 professors, 15 associate professors, 13 assistant professors and 112 research assistants. Students who complete five years of postgraduate education graduate as dentists. Postgraduate education in dentistry is carried out through the Institute of Health Sciences (doctorate) and the Ministry of Health (specialization). In addition to teaching and research activities, our faculty also provides services for the community and patients from Isparta and neighboring provinces and districts as well as from different countries are treated in the clinics of each department.
