About Programme
Süleyman Demirel University (SDU) Industrial Engineering Master's Program; It is a program prepared and carried out by SDU Engineering Faculty Industrial Engineering Department. It admitted its first graduate students in the 2006-2007 academic year. In order to be accepted to the program whose language of instruction is Turkish, the candidate must meet the application criteria set by the SDU Graduate School of Sciences and be successful in the relevant exams. Providing up-to-date and research-oriented engineering education has been adopted as a basic principle in the programs. History
|
Our department started education and training at the undergraduate and graduate level in the 2006-2007 academic year. A total of 12 academic staff and 2 administrative staff work in our department, where academic activities are carried out in two departments, Industrial Engineering and Operations Research. Our department accepts students to its undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs.

Admission Requirements
|
Students who can certify that they have a bachelor's degree or are entitled to graduate in the fields announced before the entrance exam date can apply to the master's program.Additional conditions to be sought in candidates are determined and announced by the Institute Board within the framework of the relevant regulation and legislation.

Higher Grade Transition
|
Candidates who have successfully completed their master's education can study in doctoral programs, provided that they get sufficient grades from the ALES exam and have sufficient English language knowledge.

Graduation Requirements
The master's program with thesis consists of at least seven compulsory and/or elective courses, a seminar course, thesis study and, if selected, a specialization course as stipulated by the EABD/EASD presidency, provided that it is not less than 120 ECTS credits.
1.In order to pass the thesis stage, the student of the master's program with thesis must have a weighted grade point average of at least 2.00, provided that he has been successful in all the courses he has taken, and must have succeeded at least 60 ECTS credits including the seminar course.
2.The duration of the master's program with thesis, excluding the time spent in scientific preparation, is four semesters regardless of whether or not registered for each semester, and the program is completed in a maximum of six semesters.
3.The student whose thesis has been accepted; Within one month following the thesis defense exam date, five copies of the thesis for the jury consisting of three people, and seven copies of the thesis for the jury consisting of five people, three bound and saved in electronic environment (removable memory) and the documents and documents requested by YÖK are completed and delivered to the institute. With the decision of the EYK, the student is entitled to receive a master's degree.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates
|
Graduates with a master's degree in industrial engineering are employed as specialists in many companies operating in the production and service sectors and as research assistants in universities.

Student success is evaluated by considering article 17 and article 18 of the Senate Principles of Süleyman Demirel University Graduate Education and Training Regulations.
