About Programme
|
To educate physiotherapists who have knowledge and skill about predominantly concerned with assessing, treating or preventing pre- or post-natal physical impairments, limited functional capacities, any kind of injuries, ailments, aches of approaching old age, pain and functional impairments causing movement disorders by using evaluation methods peculiar to the physiotherapy in the wake of the diagnosis of a specialist doctor.

History
|
Süleyman Demirel University Isparta Faculty of Health Sciences Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation started education and training by taking its first students in the 2002-2003 period. Later, the Isparta Health School was closed and; Upon the letter of the Ministry of National Education dated 02/02/2009 and numbered 3024, the Faculty of Health Sciences was established with the decision of the Council of Ministers dated 16/02/2009, in accordance with the additional article 30 of the 28/03/1983 dated and 2809 numbered law.

Qualification Awarded
|
Graduates who successfully complete this program will receive a "Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Undergraduate Diploma".

Admission Requirements
|
To be accepted to the program, candidates must have a high school diploma and receive a sufficient score in the ÖSYM exam.
|
Higher Grade Transition
|
Program graduates continue on to master's and doctoral programs in physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
|
Graduation Requirements
|
For graduation, a total of 240 ECTS credits must be completed, all courses must be passed, and the internship process must be completed.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates
|
Our graduates can work in public hospitals, university hospitals, private hospitals, private physical therapy and rehabilitation branches, special education centers, guidance and research centers, elderly care centers, private counseling centers, spas, thermal hotels, etc. as physiotherapist.

Assessment and Grading
|
Measurement and evaluation methods for each course are determined by the relevant faculty members and are implemented in accordance with university regulations.
